Roses in France: The French, especially the town of Rouen, embraced the cultivation of roses after the King of Navarre brought his wife rose bushes when he returned from The Seventh Crusade.
Scorpion repellent:It was thought by some Ancients that they could drive away scorpions by using a strong external concoction made of Delphinium flowers. Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
