Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
Flower power:In the 60's hippies would put flowers in the rifle barrel of soldiers guns as they stood at attention. Reason men like flowers: Men love to get flowers for the same reason they send them - to be recognized. Everyone likes to feel special.
