Flowers become fruits: For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. After fertilization, a flower develops into a fruit containing the seed(s).
Flower care:If you receive flowers in a container with floral foam, be certain the container is full of water every day. The water should be treated with the floral food provided by your florist. Using your finger, feel under the greens for a place where water can be added. Apple blossom garnish: The internet advises that apple blossoms are nice to use to garnish fruit dishes but they should only be eaten in moderation because they may contain cyanide precursors.
