Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
Scorpion repellent:It was thought by some Ancients that they could drive away scorpions by using a strong external concoction made of Delphinium flowers. Flower looks like animal: Because the Strelitzia flower looks much like the head and beak of an exotic bird they are nicknamed The Bird of Paradise.
