Poinsettias are not poisonous: Scientific research from The Ohio State University has proved the poinsettia to be non-toxic to both humans and pets. All parts of the plants were tested, including the leaves and sap.
Orchid reproduction:An orchids seeds cannot germinate unless they are penetrated by fungus threads. Keep flowers away from sun and drafts: It is not a good idea to put your arrangement in the sun after receiving it. Growing flowers require sunshine for maturation, but cut flowers will fade much faster if exposed to heat and direct sunlight. To keep flowers fresh longer, place them in a location away from sun and drafts.
