Flowers throughout life: In modern times, people have sought ways to cultivate, buy, wear, or just be around flowers and blooming plants, partly because of their agreeable smell. Around the world, florists sell flowers for a wide range of events and functions that, cumulatively, encompass one's lifetime.
Innocence dance:Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen. Meanings of rose colors: In Victorian times flowers had assigned meanings, but even then there was much discrepancy. Today there are so many flowers and colors that this tradition no longer applies. Red roses are traditionally associated with romantic love, but this is not a universal rule by any means.
