Noble flowers: The four noble plants of the ancient Chinese were the Chrysanthemum, the Orchid, the bamboo, and the plum, and therefore only the upper class Chinese were permitted to grow them in their gardens.
Vegetable flowers:The top part of broccoli is really flower buds. After enough time each will grow into a bright yellow flower, hence the name florets is given to them. Broccoli flowers are not usually given as gift bouquets. Sunlight for roses: A minimum of 6 hours of sunlight per day will be plenty to make roses grow well.
