Orchids are popular: The orchid is the most popular houseplant probably because it is more easily available than in the past and it is very easy to care for.

If they have been growing in one spot for some time then they should be watered deeply once a week with one-inch or more of water. Meanings of rose colors: In Victorian times flowers had assigned meanings, but even then there was much discrepancy. Today there are so many flowers and colors that this tradition no longer applies. Red roses are traditionally associated with romantic love, but this is not a universal rule by any means.
