Amount of water for roses: When roses have just been planted they should be watered daily to prevent wilting. If they have been growing in one spot for some time then they should be watered deeply once a week with one-inch or more of water.

Disadvantage of rose hybrids: Typically new colorful varieties of roses which have been created by hybridization are weaker against diseases.
