Keep flowers away from sun and drafts: It is not a good idea to put your arrangement in the sun after receiving it. Growing flowers require sunshine for maturation, but cut flowers will fade much faster if exposed to heat and direct sunlight. To keep flowers fresh longer, place them in a location away from sun and drafts.
Time to prune roses:Around March, just before the early spring growth begins, is the best time to prune the roses. Sunlight for roses: A minimum of 6 hours of sunlight per day will be plenty to make roses grow well.
