Sending flowers out-of-town: Most florist shops are members of national wire services and/or know florists in other towns. Your flower order can be taken by your local florist, who will then contact a florist for you in another town and place your order.
Keep flowers away from sun and drafts:It is not a good idea to put your arrangement in the sun after receiving it. Growing flowers require sunshine for maturation, but cut flowers will fade much faster if exposed to heat and direct sunlight. To keep flowers fresh longer, place them in a location away from sun and drafts. Vitamins in flowers: Rose hips may contain anywhere from 2,275 to 6,977 mgs. of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp which is much greater than the 49 mgs of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp from oranges.
