Keep flowers away from sun and drafts: It is not a good idea to put your arrangement in the sun after receiving it. Growing flowers require sunshine for maturation, but cut flowers will fade much faster if exposed to heat and direct sunlight. To keep flowers fresh longer, place them in a location away from sun and drafts.
Disadvantage of rose hybrids:Typically new colorful varieties of roses which have been created by hybridization are weaker against diseases. Relatives of the rose: Roses are in the same plant family as plums, apples, and almonds.
