Planting roses: To plant roses which have been obtained from a nursery first water the rose, and then remove it from the pot. If the rose is in a paper pot cut off the bottom and remove the sidewalls so that the fine, new white feeder roots of the growing plant might be preserved.
Ordering over the phone:Full service florists will take phone orders if you have a major credit card. Some florists will establish an in-house account after you have made an initial order. Best time for watering roses: It is best to water roses either early in the morning or late in the afternoon instead of in the middle of the day.
