Sending flowers out-of-town: Most florist shops are members of national wire services and/or know florists in other towns. Your flower order can be taken by your local florist, who will then contact a florist for you in another town and place your order.
Sunlight for roses:A minimum of 6 hours of sunlight per day will be plenty to make roses grow well. Gerbera is a favorite: The Gerbera is one of the new favorite flowers. They are available in quite a large variety of colors and look a lot like daisies.
