Planting roses: To plant roses which have been obtained from a nursery first water the rose, and then remove it from the pot. If the rose is in a paper pot cut off the bottom and remove the sidewalls so that the fine, new white feeder roots of the growing plant might be preserved.
Forbidden flower:Clement of Alexandra forbade Christians to adorn themselves with roses because they were thought to be a symbol of paganism, orgy, and lust. Good reputation: Word of mouth is often the best resource when looking for a florist. An outstanding florist will have a good reputation in your community.
