Fertilizers necessary for roses: To ensure healthy woody growth, shiny leaves, and beautiful flowers the roses are very much dependent on either organic or chemical fertilizers.
Named for fighters:Gladiolus flowers got their name because the leaves of the plant were shaped like a sword and made them think of the Roman gladiators. Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
