Vitamins in flowers:Rose hips may contain anywhere from 2,275 to 6,977 mgs. of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp which is much greater than the 49 mgs of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp from oranges. The oldest roses: Colorado fossils of the rose which were alive 40 million years ago are the oldest evidence of roses.
