Flowers become fruits: For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. After fertilization, a flower develops into a fruit containing the seed(s).
Sacred flower:The flowers heads of the Calendula were used to adorn holy statues in ancient India and it is their most sacred flower. Old and Modern Roses: Roses which existed prior to 1867 are known as Old Roses. Roses developed from 1867 to present are usually referred to as Modern Roses.
