Blue roses soon: Scientists experimenting with liver enzymes stumbled across a method that might be used to produce blue roses in the near future.
Planting roses:To plant roses which have been obtained from a nursery first water the rose, and then remove it from the pot. If the rose is in a paper pot cut off the bottom and remove the sidewalls so that the fine, new white feeder roots of the growing plant might be preserved. Correct delivery information: The florist can guarantee delivery on a holiday if the order is placed in a timely manner. Most florists cannot guarantee an actual time for the delivery on a busy holiday but may be able to give an estimated time. The key is to order early and to have all the delivery information (recipient name, address and phone number) correct to avoid any delays.
