Time to prune roses: Around March, just before the early spring growth begins, is the best time to prune the roses.
Personal attention:The florist you pick should give the right amount of personal attention to your needs. Choose a florist who will get to know you, keep track of your floral preferences and send reminders of upcoming special occasions. More flower care: If you receive flowers in a vase, check to be sure the water is always clear. If the water turns cloudy, empty it and add fresh water mixed with the floral food provided by your florist. If possible, re-cut the stems with a sharp knife before placing them in the fresh water.
