Where to put flowers: No matter what type of arrangement you have, it is important to keep your flowers off of televisions, appliances and heating/cooling units. You should also keep them away from hot or cold drafts and out of direct sunlight.
Vegetable flowers:The top part of broccoli is really flower buds. After enough time each will grow into a bright yellow flower, hence the name florets is given to them. Broccoli flowers are not usually given as gift bouquets. Sending flowers out-of-town: Most florist shops are members of national wire services and/or know florists in other towns. Your flower order can be taken by your local florist, who will then contact a florist for you in another town and place your order.
