Flowers become fruits: For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. After fertilization, a flower develops into a fruit containing the seed(s).
Forbidden flower:Clement of Alexandra forbade Christians to adorn themselves with roses because they were thought to be a symbol of paganism, orgy, and lust. Some roses are stronger: Some types of roses are better than others at being able to resist damage due to disease or insects.
