Rose literature with the ancient Chinese: Many books about roses were possessed by the Imperial Chinese library, according to Confucius, who died in 479 BC.
Old and Modern Roses:Roses which existed prior to 1867 are known as Old Roses. Roses developed from 1867 to present are usually referred to as Modern Roses. Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
