Planting roses: To plant roses which have been obtained from a nursery first water the rose, and then remove it from the pot. If the rose is in a paper pot cut off the bottom and remove the sidewalls so that the fine, new white feeder roots of the growing plant might be preserved.
Orchid reproduction:An orchids seeds cannot germinate unless they are penetrated by fungus threads. Sacred flower: The flowers heads of the Calendula were used to adorn holy statues in ancient India and it is their most sacred flower.
