Innocence dance: Young men and women in early Athens would put on a crown of roses during feasts and then to symbolize the innocence of the Golden Age they would dance naked around the temple of Hymen.
Daisies after death:When mentioning an enemy that had been killed during battle a person might say that he is now “pushing up daisies”. Old and Modern Roses: Roses which existed prior to 1867 are known as Old Roses. Roses developed from 1867 to present are usually referred to as Modern Roses.
