Vitamins in flowers: Rose hips may contain anywhere from 2,275 to 6,977 mgs. of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp which is much greater than the 49 mgs of vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp from oranges.
Flower care:If you receive flowers in a container with floral foam, be certain the container is full of water every day. The water should be treated with the floral food provided by your florist. Using your finger, feel under the greens for a place where water can be added. Best time for watering roses: It is best to water roses either early in the morning or late in the afternoon instead of in the middle of the day.
