Watering roses: Instead of watering your roses just a little bit at a time it is best to water them deeply so that the water can most effectively penetrate the roots.
Beginning the rose garden:Early spring is the best time to put out roses grown in nursery containers and late winter is the best time to plant bare-root roses. Living room decorating: Float two or three blooms, such as gardenias or gerbera daisies in a favorite crystal bowl. Add a floating candle or two for a glowing evening effect.
