Keep flowers away from sun and drafts:It is not a good idea to put your arrangement in the sun after receiving it. Growing flowers require sunshine for maturation, but cut flowers will fade much faster if exposed to heat and direct sunlight. To keep flowers fresh longer, place them in a location away from sun and drafts. Some roses are stronger: Some types of roses are better than others at being able to resist damage due to disease or insects.
