Watering roses: Instead of watering your roses just a little bit at a time it is best to water them deeply so that the water can most effectively penetrate the roots.
Planting roses:To plant roses which have been obtained from a nursery first water the rose, and then remove it from the pot. If the rose is in a paper pot cut off the bottom and remove the sidewalls so that the fine, new white feeder roots of the growing plant might be preserved. Living room decorating: Float two or three blooms, such as gardenias or gerbera daisies in a favorite crystal bowl. Add a floating candle or two for a glowing evening effect.
